For quite a few years now, a lot of Canadians have been pursing Physiotherapy studies in the UK. Either studying at Bachelor level – BSc Physiotherapy, applying right after high school or at Postgraduate level – MSc (Pre-Reg), for someone with a 4-year Bachelor degree in Science related subjects.

UK universities offer various attractive Physiotherapy courses designed to help student establish a fundamental understanding of core concepts in physiotherapy and other related study fields, plus a wide range of job-oriented skills. Bachelors of Physiotherapy (BSc) – 3 years

  1. All school graduates are eligible to apply directly. The entrance requirement varies from university to university. On average, you need to have atleast 75% in your high school diploma, however, you must have Chemistry, Physic or Biology at high end.
  2. Despite students do not require to appear in any sort of entrance test, though, Interview is a pivotal element in selection process.
  3. An average fee for BSc Physiotherapy is approx £15,000 per year with number of scholarships available.
  4. All UK universities offer undergraduate program in September.

All undergraduate applications have to go through UCAS. Students have options to apply in one or up to of 5 universities. You only can submit UCAS application ONLY once in one academic year. MSc (Pre-Reg) Physiotherapy – 2 years

This has been very popular choice among those students, who have a 4-year Bachelors degree (in any science related major) and wanted to become a licensed Physiotherapist.

  1. On average 80% (CGPA 3.2 on a scale of 4.0) is required.
  2. Interview is mandatory in selection process.
  3. Starts in January & September.
  4. An average fee is approximately £16,000 per year with number of scholarships available.
  5. Many UK schools offer 2-year MSc (Pre-Reg) Physiotherapy with start date in September or January. Some popular choices among Canadians are Brunel, Keele, Glasgow Caledonian, Manchester Metropolitan.
