PROCEDURE

General Admission Requirement

• English language – IELTS* at least 7.0 in each component (or equivalent)
• Personal statement – Satisfactory personal statement
• Reference – One satisfactory academic reference.
• Age – applicants to be 18 years when they apply

4-year MD Program

Application Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required. Online application with USD $30 fee
• Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)

Note: All North American applicants (US and Canadian) must submit an MCAT score as part of their application for the April 2022 term and for future terms after April 2022. (The University’s MCAT code is 21303.)

5-year MD Program

• Advanced Levels: Minimum 3 subjects with A’s and B’s in Biology, Chemistry, and either Math or Physics.
• Full IB Diploma: Requires a minimum score of 32 points; 3 HL science subjects recommended; minimum of 2 HL subjects required, which must include Chemistry and Biology; results 5 or higher.

It is recommended that our international students sit the UCAT (ucat.ac.uk) to provide the Faculty Student Selection Committee additional quantitative information on your academic and science foundation to allow us to properly assess your file. The UCAT is not mandatory but is a suggestion.
